I have a hankering...

... for a 911, probably an SC possibly a 3.2, although the former seem less money. This one ticks most of the boxes (I'd prefer silver, black leather, no spoiler):

Is it easy to get a spoiler/sport delete kit for cars that have the spoiler, both SC and 3.2?

Yes, I noticed the badge on the back and wondered why it wasn't a 911SC one. Liked the uncluttered front end though...
Is the engine lid the whole rear boot lid or just the black corrugated part, and how hard are they to obtain...?
PS looking at it again, I suspect the headlamp covers, chrome window trims and mirrors are a PO blinging up his car.

Seems like a nice SC and they are always pretty in silver. Like previously posted, a W reg SC should come with the dark anodised window frames as well as with the elephant ears electric mirror (s). This one is equipped with a 78 or before spec clear anodised brightwork as well as a (reproduction) talbot mirror and 7 and 8 x 15 fuchs, which are rare. The carrera badge is not a carrera 2.7 badge, as it is too big. I suspect its a 993 item.

One like this was posted a while ago on the cover of GT purely Porsche, jan 2007. It might be that this owner got his inspiration from there.

SSI's will gain a good 10% so if this is the 188 bhp model, and if its nice and loose, you have say about 200 bhp.

But you have to do your homework with those- shiney paint can hide a lot of horrors!

Best of luck,

Bert

i have also been thinking fo buying an sc and also liked the look of that silver one on pistonheads but if u look on auto trader now there are more original examples and cheaper. my own thinking is that if u buy an sc for £7,500 which u can on autotrader (i know they can be cheap for a reason) then how much cheaper can they get??? i have a 997s and love it but also have a hankering for an sc but i guess i need to drive one first and see what i think....
