I have a problem with my door lock, specifically the plastic rod that connects the door lock to the lock mechanism.
The plastic rod is broken off, which means I cannot open the door with the key. I can of course open the door with the remote, but if the remote fails, I have no way of opening the door.

My question is can I buy the plastic rod from a dealership, or should I get a complete outer door handle from eBay?
