Its taken 12 months to get lux on the road and now its broke. Dont you just love em?
Been driving it on sunny days in the last 2 weeks and this morning beings as it was nice i took it out. Strangely it took 6 or 7 turns before it fired but then it was fine. Drove it back home tonight and it was fine. Got home, turned off the engine whilst i opened up the garage and then it wouldnt start.
Checked there is plenty of fuel, swapped the DME as i have a spare, checked all the other fuses and they are fine. Wierd thing was when i tried turning it over the oil light was flashing on and off. Plenty of oil on the dipstick but stuck another glug in anyway and then oil light stopped flashing however there was defo lots of oil in it and it had oil and filter change last week but still wont start!
Gonna check tomorrow that is fuel at the rail and spark at the plugs but did notice that the tach wasnt bouncing when i turned the engine over.
Does this possibly point to a crank sensor ?
