I need to sell my regisration DAS911

Hi folks this is my first post to the forum and to be honest I have an arterial motive, my wife and I have just had a baby boy, our kitchen ceiling has fallen down (I live in hull and you would not believe the weather of late) and it has been decided its time for me to sell my "toy" land rover luckily for me the reg. "˜DAS 911' (or translated in my school boy German "˜THE 911') is worth more than the car I am contacting Porsche owners as I think this is pretty much the ultimate reg. I always wanted a 911 to put it on but the closest I have managed so far is a 1963 beetle (designed by the same bloke though!). unfortunately with the boy and all the stuff that goes with babies a sports car is looking out of the question for a very long time! I can wait till my midlife crisis but the land rover won't!

The details are bellow and if this is of any interest to you happy bidding and enjoy your Porsche (not that I'm jealous honest!)

Thanks for your time

Yours

Paul Harper

To cut to the chase DAS 911 is currently available on EBay through the above link.

The registration is currently on my 1960 Land rover (which has MOT and Tax so is transferable) and is a UK "˜dateless' reg.

The auction finishes Monday16-Jul-07 15:41:48 BST and has a reserve of a quarter of the valuations I have had from reg. dealers even after their commission!

If you would be interested in this reg. please follow the link however if you have clients, customers, friends or family who may be interested I would be hugely grateful if you could forward this information to them!

hi and welcome, sounds like the landie could be the perfect car for Hull at the moment....feel for you.

not interested myself but will put a link to other porsche sites for you.

not all porsches cost a fortune some start from as little as £3.000. i had to wait untill my kids had grown up but, as the saying goes...............good things are worth waiting for.

over the past few years i have owned most of the porsche range, and have to say the ones i get the most ownership pleasure from are the old ones.
As, with the current police state we live in making driving a fast car a criminal offence (worse then murder). and with me suffering with a very heavy right foot, owning the New 911s was becoming more and more frustrating for me.

thats brillient thanks any links or if anyone can think of anyone else i should contact that would be much apreciated, as for a porsche for £3000 at the minute if this reg doesn't meet the reserve i may be posting that i am selling a kidney on ebay in the next couple of weeks, i have spent the last 18 months working with young people with drugs problems and was laid off two weeks before the baby was born so things are a bit tight to be looking at porsche ownership at the minute,

but i do agree that classics are the way forward blistering performance sound fantastic but there is a coper on every corner, i even got stopped in my landy but the police on the way back from tesco to get supplies for the boy with the question "are just just driving through floods for fun, we've had a lot of idiots just enjoying themselves in the water today" i still have the teath marks in my tongue and a driving licence!

thanks for your help with this
