Does anyone have any recommendations on which discs are best.
I have been using EBC yellow stuff pads.
Thanks David.

MrDemon seems to want to turn your Boxster into a race car. RS29 are endurance race pads not suited to road use: they have poor performance when cold and will squeal like crazy. Sebro or Pagid discs to the OEM pattern are fine - just treat them as the consumables they are. Make sure all the proper cooling ducts are in place - swap the front ones to GT3 ones from Porsche as they're pretty cheap - and use decent fluid that won't boil. I don't have any experience of EBC so won't comment.

he stated "Does anyone have any recommendations on which discs are best." best being a clue here to higher end units , he also stated "which I use for track days" so that rules out oem pads and the like. !!!

one has to read the question to give the right answer. he does not even state he even uses the car on the ROAD in fact !!!

I also run RS29's on road they have better bite than OEM pads and don't squeal, unless you nanny them and glaze them over ! but then don't melt on track days the OP wishes to do !!!

if the OP asked I want to replace my oem set up for road , would have said Sebro disks and oem pads or try Pagid RS42.
