Iceshark passes away

Very sad news.
There are a couple of threads on Rennlist.
This a link to his obituary. http://www.legacy.com/StarTribune/LegacySubPage2.asp?Page=LifeStory&PersonID=15234313

Very sad news, Dan had been starting to take part quite regularly in our forum and it was always interesting to hear his views from across the pond. Reading the other posts on Rennlist it's obvious he will be missed around the world

Very sad news indeed.

Dan and I swapped many e-mails on the difference of UK and US spec headlamps when he supplied a kit for Beaky. He struck me as a true gentleman, always knowledgeable, eloquent, and good humoured.

When it became apparent that the headlamps he supplied for Beaky wouldn't fit, due to a difference in UK/US spec he was unaware of, he immediately refunded my money suggesting I keep the original units should someone have use for them. They are still in my garage.

Every time I switch on my headlamps I think of Dan. Those thoughts will now be much more poignant.

I would very much like to have met Dan had I the opportunity.

It seems strange that we shall no more have Dan's comments popping up when we get on to subjects he was so knowledgeable on. He will be much missed.

It's very sad indeed, i had a very sweet email from the Wray family, as i had a kit on order.
