A comment on another thread leads me to ask. What's the best line for this. Given that if you take the late turn in someone dives in early ! which tend to concentate the mind on the exit []

No I only use the kerb when you are the stopped bus in the chicane []ORIGINAL: chfs911
Is that why you always run wide over the kerb on exit?

Late turn, clip the last part of the right hand curve then power on hard thru the left hand apex seems to be the way that worked for me this year... 24 hrs boys were doing that as well.
As you say though, run the risk of someone getting silly down the inside, but my solution was to pretend I hadn't seen them, turn in a little then straighten it up and pass behind the left hand curb "to avoid the contact" or concede the inside if the move had been done and dusted and try and to be earlier on the power on the way out for the run to La Source.
There are also some secrets about the braking area to manage the bumps as well... Belgians wait for the first bump then hard on the brakes but that will be too late in a road car.
Cheers

Go with that, but I tended to straight line it between the apexes and run wide on the exit over onto the tarmac run off for a laugh becuase I would then disappear from view from anybody watching from the pit wall!!
(also gave a chance for a coupla or three 997 Cups to get past....[8|])
Not the most defensive of lines but seemed to work for the last of the late brakers...[]

Just watched F1 and guess what happened at the bus stop !!
After learning of the penalty words fail me! what a crazy decision!
From much experience within this 964RS Forum we are all too aware the New Bus Stop resembles a Japanese Whaling Collection with a collestion of GT3's trying to herd through, the only chance of not getting squashed is to escape over the corner ...
