I have had many great drives in Scotland and was wondering about this year visiting with PCGB scottish region events.I had a great time at Knockhill trackday once and im sure we would be welcome at any of their events.Also it would encourage them to make the trip to our festival at Raby Castle!

Other ideas ;

a visit to Redline Racing
anyone else going to Goodwood festival 22-24 June in Sussex ( i am )
time for another trip to Lord Mexborough s car collection ?

Hi Jonny Boy
I have not often driven in Scotland, but in my limited experience they have some great roads up there, and not a lot of traffic. I'd be in favour of at least one trip. Trying to fit more than that in as well as our other events could be a problem for some, including me.
Another visit to Redline could be possible, but I would suggest it could be usefully combined with a drive somewhere else afterwards, as their premises is not extensive (say 1.5 hours at Redline max.). As I live in that locality, I could easily plan a suitable run to follow, if there was enough interest.
With respect to Lord Mexbrough's collection, my opinion for what it's worth (having organised the previous two trips) is that 2007 is too soon since the last one, and that 2008 would be more appropriate.

I'm all for a trip to Scotland - bring it on !
The Boxster register does an annual Scotland trip (featured in the last Porsche Post) which is always oversubscribed. It is organised with the help of a Scotland based guy called Iain Cameron who really seems to know the good driving roads up there.
