Idle Dropping

My 1994 C2 is inclined to stall at times. It's fine when the idle is stable at 850 rpm. The problem appears to be that engine doesn't seem to catch the revs at idle level whilst dropping from higher driving range revs, ie changing gears or clutching in when coming to a halt. The problem is intermittent.

Any ideas????

The list could be endless, you could try some injector cleaner additive and take the car for a good thrash.
Otherwise check that the air filter is ok.How long since the plugs were done and WERE they done.
Distributer caps and Rotors.
These are just basic starters.

If you are near an indy who has an "On Board Diagnostic" tool, then I'd get them to plug it in and get a quick read out of fault codes. Might be obvious from them.
