What are the cars you dream about?.

I will start and you can have as many as you like.

My first week I would buy:

1965 GT350 Mustang
1967 GT500 Mustang
1971 Mach 1 Mustang
Lamborghini Miura (S,SV,SVJ don't care)
Cobra Daytona
1963 Corvette Sting Ray (Split rear screen)
BMW M1
De Tomaso Mangusta
Porsche 964
300SL Mercedes Benz Gullwing
Mcc Smart Crosslade
Mcc Smart Roadster Bi Turbo
Singer 911
Ferrari Daytona
Bowler Wildcat
And I will also take a Zonda.

I will be back for more so get busy Mr car salesman. (before I awake)

Mclaren GTR Papaya Orange
Pagani Zonda F
Mercedes 300SL Gullwing
Mercedes 600 Pullman
Ferrari 1963 250 GTO
Veyron (for the shopping run)

Ferrari Dino 246
Ferrari 250 GTO
Porsche 993RS
Porsche 904
McLaren F1
Lancia Stratos
Bugatti Type 35
Bentley Continental GT, for when I need 4 seats
And a Maserati 250F for the track.

So its not only me that loves the Gullwing.

Can I also have a Mercedes 190e Cosworth
A Ford RS200
and a Lotus Cortina.

That's enough for me to be getting on with for now Sir.

I will send Giles with a Cheque in the morning.

Ford Mondeo (the one that comes with tape on the bumper)
Austin Maestro
Nissan Bluebird
Ford Orion
Ford Xr2i
Fiat Uno Turbo
Renault 9

LOL :)

So I actually do dream about old cars, not the specific ones on the silly list, but it is strange, normally old cars I have owned and then I am disappointed when I wake up to find them not on my drive!

I wouldn't care for anything too exotic, mostly a collection of classics if I had the money and space, with a spanking GT2 for the shopping trips (lol) and a fully kitted out comfy Panamera for the holidays.

Cars I would have as part of the collection:

Renault Alpine A610 Lemans
Datsun 260z (yes that's right a datsun, but it would have a modified V8 block wedged in, other than that fully restored)
Triumph GT6 (a concourse one in white)
Shelby GT500
356 Speedster (Grey, concourse again! I guess all the ones I would buy would have to be or eventually would be when I was done)
Alfa GTA (widebody)
Classic Austin Mini Cooper (no specific age, but would have to be as early as possible).
Camero SS
Aston Martin DB2
Classic E Type Coupe
1950's Plymouth

I could go on all day really, fact of the matter is, I can just about fit in enough time to look after the cars we have now, another project just wouldn't work, although I have thought of acquiring a couple before when the odd one pops up I like, it's just not realistic.

I had a 190e cosworth evolution with the widebody kit on it and quirky dog-leg manual box aprox 11 years ago. Jet black, wish I still had it :(

Also an E30 M3, if only I kept them.....

I would actually have a totally minted and low mileage Lotus Carlton or Omega (IF I could find one) *EDIT* Blimey, they look a bit dated now! Bit of an ugly duckling but I would still have one! http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/LOTUS-CARLTON-CLASSIC-CAR-/150825627503?pt=Automobiles_UK&hash=item231de86f6f#ht_500wt_1413

a Zonda F
the new F12 Berlinetta

Mercedes 280SL pagoda roof
the new Stratos
a 911 2.7 re-creation

and the Alfa Romeo (Bertone) Carabo, just to keep in my lounge and look at.

AC Ace

Lotus Esprit S4
Porsche 993 turbo
Land Rover Defender
BMW M5

We did a London cruise the other evening and stopped off at a local classic car garage, there were many grown up faces pressed against the windows ..... dreaming
