Having sorted this little problem out, and avoided ending up in a ditch on the way back from the garage (despite chosing the exciting roads over the boring ones [:)]):

http://www.porscheclubgbforum.com/tm.asp?m=177003

On Saturday evening, still shinny and clean, barely 9 hours after getting her back, some silly b**ger decided that waiting in line with everyone else wasn't his bag and pulled round stationery traffic right infront of me whilst I was turning right. To make matters worse he proceeded to b**ger off without leaving any details. Managed to get the registration and my damage is superficial, hopefully just a front PU repaint should do it. ([X(] again)

To cap it all, I got done on Sunday afternoon for the heinous crime of 'parking with 2 wheels on the footway'. I guess they have to get the numbers up somehow on a Sunday to earn their bonus, b*****ds. Is anything lower than a traffic warden?[:'(][:'(][:'(][:'(][:'(] They should try coming down my road, where everyone parks like that and people actually use the pavement there, which they don't where I was parked. I didn't even know it was an offence.

Does anyone know if there is a defence against this?

Poor little car, never does anyone any harm and now look....[>:]

Look on the bright side, things like this are like plane crashes, you get a whole stack occurring at once then a nice long period of nothing - so based on this logic you've got a long period of trouble free motoring to look forward to!!

Thanks for your kind words....

I guess they say trouble comes in threes, so I should be alright for a while now....

You are very unlucky !

Isn't it an offence to leave the scene of an accident ? I say cut their goolies off [;)]

I filled in a police report and hopefully, as I have the Reg, they will catch them eventually, then I will invite members of this Forum to a stoneing.
