New member
having just fixed the sunroof on my 1988 944 lux now the flippin speedo has died, any suggestions, all the other instuments work. I've tried fitting a new speed sensor but that made no difference I can only assume I've done something when I fixed the sunroof, can anybody help......

Does the odometer part of the instrument still work? Most of the articles below relate to a broken plastic drive gear that drives the odo. Whether this has any link to the speedo I'm not sure, but it would at least validate (?) that your sender is working.
