Okay you lot lets get some conversation going in the Lincolnshire region!!

The best thing to spark conversation seems to be our cars so please post pictures of your pride and joy with some interesting stories so we can get an idea of what the Lincolnshire Region has hidden away in its garages.

Elliot, Hello, nice motors. Well done for taking on the post of RO. Hope you can generate the support needed to run an active region. I would post a picture, but hav'nt got a clue how to go about it, but I'll try anyway. If my attempt works it will show a Signal Green 964, so give me wave if you see me about. Are you located in the south of the county. Regards, Mike (Sir Rocco)

Hi Mike I am based 7 miles north of Bourne in the south of the county. I drive the A15, A6121 and A43 each day with either the 944 or 911 and soon a refurbed mini. See you about. Where do you drive? Elliot

HI! My names Rob and im from Billinghay! Between sleaford and horncastle. Did have an Oceanjade green 98 boxster. Now own a 2000 boxster S in blue!(cant remeber name of the colour!) But looking for a 911....I need more power! :)

Hello R4 Members, I live at the very bottom of Lincs in Stamford and occasionally can be seen commuting to and from Coningsby in my new '00 996 Carrera, thats when I'm not driving my Pug HDi. Porkaparts, saw the 911 at the Bourne Classic show, very nice too. Damien

Hi Elliot, see your 944 most mornings (when not covered in mud as it is at the moment). Actually not difficult spotting you in your Porsches , living next door to you and your stable as I do. I often regret letting you drive my 944 a few years ago and corrupting you down the path of Porsche ownership (just kidding). Region Stuff I'm starting to see more Porsches on our S. Lincs roads and along my daily commute route to Bedford . I'm sure many people like myself are thinking why keep the cars hidden away midweek when they are depreciating as quickly whether driven or snug in a garage. I just hope we can coax a few PCGB drivers out of hiding over the forthcoming months as both Jean and myself really enjoy our trips out with the 997 register and multi region events, plus its clear we have a great variation in models in R4 and any opportunity to get them together for a natter and a few photos would be great. Cheers Paul

Paul i have always said that you are the only person i would allow to clean my car so please help yourself and clean her whenever she is not up to your standard. Cars tend to keep clean when they are always in the garage and not being driven!! just joking. El

Hi Elliot Sorry but it's taken me a while to get round to replying. The daily runner is a Speed Yellow 968 Club Sport which you might see in the Sleaford area - or anywhere else in the country for that matter. The reserve car is a Polar Silver 993 C2 which has claimed the garage but gets fairly frequent exercise as well. John PS As a computer illiterate don't expect me to try posting pictures!

Hi Elliot, I live in Epworth, N. Lincs, my Speed Yellow 968 Sport is a daily driver and I regularly trawl the M18, M1, A43 and A34 down to Winchester in it. The Arctic Silver 993tt is a garage queen this time of year but gets used in the better weather months for the journeys abroad and down south.

Hi Elliot, did you hear about the latest UFO sighting in Lincs, police have quashed alien intervention and said it was only porkaparts 911 in a big plastic bubble caught up in the Lincolnshre breeze. Only jealous mate. Pic of latest acquisition won't say its the last but its going to take some beating.....

Evening all, sorry I haven't been along to post until now, although I've been on the 944 forum for a while now. I live just east of Lincoln itself, little village near the toll bridge. Attached pictures of my '89 944 Turbo, half way into a fast road/sprint/hillclimb conversion. Cheers, Ben.
