Thanks for your best wishes. I hope I don't need luck! I priced it compared to others I have seen for sale. A lot seem to be around £34,000 with 50% more miles, not described in as good condition and without the original spec which makes it such a nice and rare car (Turbo S rear wing and front spoiler for instance). If I knocked somebody a grand off when it came to the bargaining bit that makes my car £3,000 over many of the others. Worth £3k more? In my mind absolutely. If you're spending over £30k on a car whats another £3k for a superb example? Maybe it's just me. I like the best I can find and will pay for it.

Lee,
I'm with you on this. I've been keeping an eye on 993 prices (others move too fast for my slow eye!) and agree with your logic above - for the car as described it seems fair (relative to ticket prices - who knows what bargining happens...). I suspect you may wait a bit if the right buyer is not looking right now, but when they are they'll snap it up.

Rare beast.

(That said, on 993 prices, the high milers at the low end (ie non-turbo, non-S) seem to have taken quite a price hit - there are some real bargins around if you are prepared to put up with one that's been messed about and perhaps not looked after).

Pete, yours is fine - "cared for by PCGB register member!"

But you would not want to sell it, surely?

The 993 S has gone to pastures new.

It's a sad day.

The best car Porsche ever made and it's gone.

Won the PCGB Concours (Best in Class) on 14th June and sold it on the day.

3.2 Carrera here we come. (the 2nd best car Porsche ever made, so it's not all bad news).

I've just advertised mine in the Members for Sale section of this forum (sob sob)

Lee,
Sorry to see your car has gone; to a good home no doubt. At least some of us won't feel so inadequate on the next Yorkshire run out, unless you buy the best 3.2 there is!
Best wishes.
