Ignition Coils

While driving my 911 (997) 54 plate with 23750 miles on the clock, it started juddering and losing power. The Emissions control warning light came on. The RAC recovered it to the Porsche dealership.

I received a call to say that two coils had been replaced and the car is now working perfectly. -£310.39

As the car is now nine months out of warranty, is this normal ware and tear?

That was the response I expected. However so far I have only spent out on a service and a set of tyres so I can't complain too much.
