Ignition Timing 911L

Is there any adjustment on the bosch distributor for the automatic advance/retard for timing.

There is a knurled knob forward and below the rear cap clamp which I can turn with my fingers.

I have seem no mention of this adjustment in my searches.

Can anyone enlighten me? Please

Evening, you advance and retard the timing by loosening the distributor clamp and turning the body of the distributor. The knurled knob is the oiler cap.
