Sunny day, working from home....ideal I thought, I'll clean the car and re-proof the hood.

I used the Porsche aerasol as directed. masked all round the edges covered the paint work, but didn't mask the centre of the the plastic rear screen. I didn't think the spary would travel, but a breeze pickd up..... The edges I masked are un effected, but the centre has marks on it that look like they have pregnated the plastic. I have washed it with everything, used all the autoglym cleaners I could lay my hands on but no joy in shifting it.

Has anybody eles done this and managed to get rid of the marks? I am wondering in Hindsight may work........?

Any Ideas?
Thanks,
Richie.

Get yourself down to BMW and buy their Convertible rear-window cleaner :
Part no:81 22 9 407 665.
It is white type paste that polishes out the plastic window.

Good luck.

Thanks for the suggestion of hindsight. orderd it late on Thursday evening and it arrived thismorning. Spot on, took all the staining left from the roof conditioner out and is crystal clear.

Very pleased with the results.

Thx.[:)]

I also bought some Porsche re-proofer. Unfortunately they put the sticke with the product code and price over the instructions and in removing the sticker I destroyed the instructions. I understand about masking, is there naything else onthe instructions I should know? For example, how heavily to apply, second coats, drying time etc?

Thanks for you r help

Peter
