After a 5 year break from Porsche I have rejoined the fold. I have just px a 2006 XKR Convertable for a 2007 997 2S from The Sussex OPC and I have to say it's nice to be back!

Look forward to some banter with the PCGB and hopefully meet up with some of you

I have no idea what you're remarks mean......[;)] [:D]

I have to ask Gary, whats the comparisons and reasoning for the return?

Well, The Jaguar was very nice, and the wife loved it, being convertible. A very refined drive and looks stunning, which is why I bought it in the first place. However, you do feel that you are more of a passenger than a driver, and whilst very comfortable etc. it is a little un-involving. The final decision to come back to a Porsche was made for several reasons. Depreciation, and I was never made to feel like I owned a prestige car by the Jaguar Dealership. Finally after test driving the 997 2S I remembered everything I like about the 911, a drivers experience!
