My Swiss holiday was blessed with two or three good days, here are a few images that might inspire others to make the trip.

This first image is obviously not the alps but it shows that the Liber-t transponder worked, I am grateful to the PCGB forum for making me aware of the availability of this device outside of France.

For some reason pictures are not uploading - I must be doing somthing wrong but for those interested here are the links:

[Links deleted as I worked out what I was doing wrong - see images below.]

The last one was taken on the return drive to Calais on one of the Dutch sea defences

Thanks.

Just one more attempt to uplooad.

Success - worked out what I was doing wrong [&:]

Superb pics, Allan - I'll post some of mine, but being in Holland and North Germany, they won't be "quite" so spectacular ...

I certainly recognise a few of those places Allen [:)].
Stunning photos but always nice with a great backdrop like that...

PS that the dirtiest I've ever seen your wheel!! :ROFLMAO:

ORIGINAL: . . . that the dirtiest I've ever seen your wheel!! :ROFLMAO:

It's the dirtiest they have ever been; took an age to clean and the bruises from pushing my arms through the spokes are only just healing[&:]. I've just ordered some Swissvax Autobahn wheel wax which I hope will provide more protection and make cleaning easier - anyone tried this? I plan to apply the wax with the wheels removed and also give the calipers a polish.

Allan - Autobahn wax is very helpful in keeping down the build-up of dust and subsequent cleaning is much less work in my experience. A detailer suggested to me additional coats of wax can help also, i.e. apply one coat, buff and then apply another.

Like the pics - went to the Tirol early June this year but the weather wasn't so reliable for photos; incredible amount of motorbikes, such is the beauty of the roads...
