Just a note for those with the " Porsche" Immobilizer fitted to their cars.
If yours has the little slot fitted to the centre console, with a small key fob, then it was made by the following people. The unit was fitted retro, by dealers.
Company name:
Hamilton & Palmer
Ph. 01732 760022
Kent.
Ask for the technical dept, I found them quite helpfull.[
]
There is an electrical circuit diagram, but they are reluctant to hand this out due to security reasons.
The immoblizer has up to four inputs, and none of the wires are mark (all black wiring).
Its up to the installer (at the dealership) how or where he connects to.
The unit typically is found under the left seat, next to the DME. Square metal box, around 75mm square.[&:]
My unit is currently not playing ball, cause I disturbed the wiring under the dash, next to the ignition key. Hence my efforts to find some info.
Hope this helps,
I have since found 2 inline fuses, fitted under steering column, connected to immobilizer. Connectors had come apart.[:-] Fixed.
