Hello all.

Anyone else up for another impromptu drive this coming weekend. With the weather forecast looking pretty good again this Sunday, it would be a shame not to make the most of it.

After last week’s enjoyable dip into Teesdale and the Wear Valley Deb & I have decided to attempt another fun run this Sunday, this time to the North. Any members who would like to join us are very welcome to, this is just a bit of fun for other like-minded R3 enthusiasts, it won’t be mapped or regulated, so subject to last minute change, please check below for timings.

9.00 am Meet at Hexham BP Services, French Garden Industrial Estate, A6079, Hexham NE46 4DL. If you don’t want a sit down breakfast at Bellingham there is a Greggs at the services.

9.30 am approx. Depart for Tea on the Train our breakfast destination, Station Yard Woodburn Road Bellingham NE48 2DG See here for website.

10.00 am approx. Arrival or if you prefer, why not simply join us at the Tea on the Train breakfast venue where we will be allowing roughly an hour for a casual catch up and breakfast meet.

After Breakfast, we are planning to head on to Kielder village and further North and take in the scenic Saughtree loop back to the A68 before turning South for Otterburn Mill before dispersing.

Once again, no need to register, just come along and join in the fun, however if you are thinking about joining us for breakfast please let me know. Presently I've only pre-booked enough space for 8 members as it tends to get rather busy on weekends, however if you prefer to book your own table, details can be found via their web page link.

Quick update six out of the eight pre-booked places are now taken, as of this morning they still had plenty of availabilty.

Thanks everyone for the kind words and to everyone who came along, not a bad day for a bit of a blast. Lovely to meet new members Carol & Mervyn, for the first time (great pictures by the way). You certainly picked a decent day to come along to, we hope the first of many more R3 runs.

Thanks again to our super skilful pathfinders, Philip & Jacquie for taking up the lead, great team effort. Nothing more enjoyable than a spot of breakfast, a sprinkle of coffee, maybe some cakes and lots and lots of fun in the sun served up in such great company. :giggle:
