Impromptu drive Saturday Evening 16th July

With the promise of good weather this weekend, I wondered if anyone else was interested in potentially meeting up for a scenic drive to the North of our Region on Saturday evening.

Although nothing is yet set in stone, my initial thoughts are meet at Hexham BP Services (NE46 4DL) at around 5.30pm for a 6.00ish departure and meander up to Kielder, from there you can either turnaround or continue on towards Bonchester Bridge before turning right and heading back down the A68 and heading for home. Depending on numbers we may possibly stop off somewhere on route for a bit of banter and a relaxing cold drink, non alcoholic of course.

If you are potentially interested please add your name to the thread, to gauge interest and potential numbers hopefully we'll get a few other like minded enthusiasts.

Have fun.[;)]

Terrible excuse, I have it on good authority it shouldn’t take you much more than 2 hours, since you are only a stones throw from Bicester, Cliff.
