Impromptu London Social Meet Thursday 12th May

I'm in London on Thursday and would like to suggest a beer and a curry! Seems a tad unusual for a visiting Scot to suggest a London social but why not?! I'm free and zcacogp (Oli) is up for it so who else fancies it?

Meeting point : Shooting Star pub, very close to Liverpool Street station. Details here:

Link attached above with map etc but is fairly easy to find and between Liverpool Street and Brick Lane. 7.45pm start time and then subsequently head to Brick Lane for a curry.

Okay, who fancies a beer / curry and some car talk then?!

As Steve said, I'm well up for it; who else is in?

An evening of beer, curry, good company and 944 chat ... I'm looking forward to it!

Bit short on replies chaps ... anyone else going to join us? The forecast is good and the beer will be excellent ...

Sorry guys - just too short a notice for me.

Maybe next time (any excuse for a couple of hours blat down south in the old girl [:D] )

Too short notice for me too, and not an easy place to park! Have to say that there are some really good places to eat round there though. [:)]

Next big one for us is Silverstone on the 22nd. Look forward to seeing you all there.

Come on chaps, you're dropping like flies!

(Although - Jon - Pneumonia? That's not funny. Hope you recover and are back behind the wheel of your turbo soon.)

unfortunately, my schedule's been revised and I'm not going to be in London this week after all. A shame as it would have been nice to meet some more 944 people.
Should things change, i'll drop by.

Ian

Ian,

Top stuff! I'm looking forward to meeting some (more) fellow 944 owners ...
