Hi R3-ers,

I’m planning a trip to the WB & Sons “Sunday Club” at Killingworth this weekend - it’s a car show and open day they have the week before their classic car auction the following Saturday. https://wbandsons.com/

The auction halls will be open for a mooch and there is a good turnout of interesting cars too - there‘s a cafe on site for hot drinks, bacon butties, cakes, etc. as well. The open day is 10-2 but there are a few of us planning an early morning run out “on the way” beforehand.

If you fancy the Sunday Club then we’ll see you there from 10-ish but if you fancy a run out first then drop me a PM or text me. Probably leaving from West of the A1 at Newcastle around 8am, a swift 100 miles scoot around Northumberland with a quick pit stop for pics and a wee behind a tree and then to the auction site for a coffee and a bacon roll.

Yep could be up for a scoot about if I get an early night on Sat lol.

pm me start details thanks.

I’ll have a run down to Killingworth to have a look at the auction lots and get a coffee.

cheers

Sean

Replied to all messages.

About half a dozen coming on the run - see anyone else there.

Great run out to the (very cold) Scottish Borders. Must’ve been chilly as Fitzy put his roof up - he still had shorts on though!

Nice reserved parking spot on arrival too - apologies to Sir John who was parked up on the road outside.

Obviously, Sean’s immaculate Cayman GTS showed us all up, but then again he’d only come down the road!

[attachment=4F311758-2552-4D09...56EBF941(1)(1).jpeg] Loads of interesting stuff for sale and in the car park - one guy brought down this RS200 and 6R4, certainly not something you see (or hear) every day.
