As above meeting at Skelton Lake services tomorrow (Wed 9 March) on garage forecourt at 1.30 for a run over to Sherburn AeroClub cafe for a brew and a natter. Four of us going so far????????
Turn up if you want.??

I thoroughly enjoyed the afternoon, especially the company.
Graham unexpectedly plunged me into leading the run which necessitated me quickly learning a few things about about using shared Google Maps routes. It’s only fair that we share responsibilities. I made a few errors but we got to Sherburn Aero Club together albeit with Graham taking over for the last mile or so after I upset my navigation with a wayward finger on that stretch.
Note to self: Position the phone holder better to avoid reflection and obstruction by the mirror.
It was good to meet Peter for the first time and I hope we didn’t put him off future runs and events.
I look forward with eager anticipation to future impromptu runs.

I also thoroughly enjoyed the sunny afternoon with a great route and company. Many thanks to Chris, Graham, David, Peter (not M) and Roger :) I am looking forward to the next one.

Yep, it was a lovely afternoon out.
Hard work at the back but I actually got bespoke google maps to work for the first time from start to finish.

Are you volunteering to lead the next run then David? Those at the back of the line often have to go faster I know. It’s difficult to judge how fast to go at the front. I think Chris thought I was bimbling.
