IMPROMPTU RUN : PEAKS STREAK - THURSDAY 28/11/24 - the perfect alternative to Bah Humbug.

Hello Playmates.

Got all the lights up and decorated the tree?

Plenty of balls up on it?

Are the sprouts on yet?

Dusted the mince pies?

Been out and got some mistletoe?

Hoping for a Christmas cracker?

Finding the will to embrace the 'spirit' are we?

Had enough of it already?

Well ..... as the weather is looking promising ..... and if anyone fancies a bit of Christmas free 'me time' this Thursday then get the motor out of the garage and come for a run on some glorious roads in The Peak District?

There is no planned route - its just a stream of consciousness thing - free your mind and your Porsche will follow - it's very therapeutic.

Bring a radio if you have one and meet up @ 09:30 at the Shell filling station Maple Road Tankersley S753DL (on the A61 just off M1 J36) there is a Maccy Dee's next door if you need a coffee or the loo.

Allow for around 5-6 hours from start to finish but feel free to break off and wander back anytime you feel like it.

Five or six motors would be ideal - but I am perfectly happy being Billy No Mates.

If everyone is already locked into creating their own truly special 24/7 365 day (366 if a leap year) absolutely amazing bah humbug experience courtesy of commercial tv, supermarkets, on-line shopping, retail parks and garden centres etc not to mention Black Friday - don't worry I fully understand ...... it's just that erm .....???

What's it all about?

Yours festively,

Zeusy.
