Meet at A68 Cafe Toft Hill Ln, Bishop Auckland DL14 0JF

10.30am / 10.45am with a short run afterwards.

All welcome.

Hope to join as long as a) senior management (the wife) has no plans b) Storm Jorge doesn’t dump a load of snow/rain over the weekend.

If anyone planning on going wants to drop me a PM with a phone number I’ll make sure i keep them up to date with my plans. Alternately I’m happy to set up a WhatsApp group for the everyone going that may help getting last minute messages to everyone if they aren’t able to monitor the forums?

I'm definitely interested but if I make it I'll not be in the 911, I'll be in the 58 Magnette :)

Sorry John, Deb & I have a meeting in the morning. We may be able to catch up with the group at the end of your run depending on what time we get done.

Forecast is looking OK so I’m hoping to get down..is anyone travelling to the meeting point from Sunderland/Newcastle way?

Simon,

I live in Wylam. Where are you?

More than happy to pre-rendezvous at a suitable time/location for the run over to the A68 Cafe, if convenient.

Anyone else like minded?

Otherwise see you there :)

Hi Randall, outskirts of Sunderland just off A19 but will probably head across A1231 or A690 and pick up the A1?

Washington Services Ok or the Shell station at the bottom of the A690 near the Durham park & ride?

Maps saying approx 30mins from either so 10am should get to the rendezvous for around 10:30

The Shell station at the A690/A1 junction works for me for a pre-rendezvous.

See you there, and anyone else, at 10.00hrs for the run over.

I too have the app and can see the route. It’s a interesting resource that could be added to for the tech savvy.

Lets pick this up with the rest of the team over a cuppa at the cafe.

LOL I just got the rubber mats and was looking for one of these...I’ll have it!

Asuming you are along for the run tomorrow?

10am it is! See you there.

Agree 100% on the Roads app...would be good if when one of the bigs runs is scouted it was recorded in the app...if the lead car in every group had the app in PCM it would be much easier than inputing multiple postcodes...on the fish & chip run last year I took 5 cars down a dead end as which was where the more remote postcode centre was recorded. Lots of tools that we could use better.
