Always like to get out early in the new year. If you fancy meeting up and taking advantage of the window of opportunity, weather wise, Friday 3rd Jan - Meet at Hexham and head up to Kielder and on to Howick (coffee) with a return via Newcastleton, should be enjoyable, they are fabulous and varied roads.
