Hi All,

How can I get the phone to sinc with my mobile?
I am guessing I have to have a separate phone number which defeats the object.

On the Gen 1 cars, i.e pre-bluetooth, you can't! You either take the sim card out of your phone and put it in the sim slot on the dash or get another sim card, with a different number, and divert the calls to your mobile to that number when you're in the car. You used to be able to get two sim cards with the same number but I don't think any phone company does that anymore. The expensive solution is to buy a Gen 2 car.............[;)]
 
Fit a viseeo car kit which interfaces with the PCM 2.1 perfectly and allows your Bluetooth phone to interface with the car phone module. Cost is £300 plus fitting. Here is the link:
