....I Trust !

It was with some reservation that I bought the Hindsight rear vinyl screen cleaner kit this week. But, forkin hell - it's brilliant!!

This stuff has completely removed the traces of the dreaded Boxster rear screen "line" than appears on the fold of the screen. All gone! When I look at the rear view mirror out through the back, it's as clear as glass now.

Anyone else tried it? It is good for cleaning / polishing any other parts ?

Hi Nick.
Yes I jave used it for years. Its hard to do on a 996 as the rear screen is difficult to get at with any degree of comfort. It works very well - but get it on the hood and thats another story. Its a devil to get off black canvas so I mask the outside when I do it, and carful with the inside.
Once its done ( maybe once a year at the most) I keep it clear with any 'clear plastic screen' sprays. Turtle Wax Orange spray is great.

Can also be ordered direct from the makers .. see PP . I have used it on older screens but hard work and a kit will do loads of cars so you could pass it around several owners.I believe it was invented by a Scottish surgeon(all good thinks are invented by Scot's )[:D][:D]
used to stretch the human skin in operation's ...... don't qt me on that .

It is expensive - but truely works.

It was done as some scientific research and now (apparently) the sales of it goes back into other scientific research.
