My SONY Head Unit (from the XPLOD era) has decided to become uncooperative... it will play from cold for a few mins and then decides to go on silence afterwards... Looking for come recommendations of a good ICE dealer who can be trusted to do the correct work...preferably in the West London area...

I've used Sextons in Wandsworth a few times for both 911 and other cars we have. They've always fixed problems and charges are very reasonable.

Obviously they'll try to flog you either new or additional kit because that's their primary business but they do respect owners of classic cars and the desire to keep period ICE equipment:

I went for this:

...have bought new speakers and cable and an amp. Engine noise when I hit 140mph (in Germany) takes over. Otherwise, I think this fit into the 993 look and feel than any other hifi available today & it sounds amazing! Truly.

I am not a car hifi person, but this the mother of all of them. Has to be ordered as no one keeps this in stock. 1k per unit! Ouch, but nice.
