Just been to MARQUE 21 with R26 very bad weather good food good confersation VERY VERY bad trip home.Flooding in all directions , left for home @1300hrs got home @1800hfs a distance of 18mls.A damn great lorry with a 3ft bow wave totally drowned my3.2 Targa resulting 3ins of water in foot wells .RESULT engine stops and had to walk 8mls sometimes in2ft of water till I could met up with my wife.It could have been longer but aVERY nice man in a CAYENNE gave me alift the last few miles. all Ihavr to do now is recover my car and get it mobile !!!!!!
 
Sorry to hear of your fate Paul. The rest of the clan turned around to find another route before your incident! We found a way through a housing estate to avoid the flood at the Texaco roundabout. Then another detour was required to get aroung the next flooded section at Winterbourne Abbas. Just another typical day out for region 26!!!!!!!!!!
 
I'm so sorry to hear this tale of woe Paul - but fair play to you using the old girl in such attrocious conditions. I hope you've dried out now and the car gets recovered safetly.

Sounds like things were dire in Dorset yesterday. I thought we'd suffered bad conditions travelling to Essex and back - but the rain was merely torrential, whereas when we got back to Verwood, the place resembled a jacuzzi!

Hope Sherborne dries out for next week...

Marque 21 recovered the old girl on Monday,had her running on Tuesday,picking her up on Thursday.
As for Sherbourne, Jose chille will warm the cockels of what ever you want.The weather forcastis absolute S!!!!.but who cares?
