Hi, im aware of autostrasse in colchester in essex but anyone know of any other porsche specialists closer to the brentwood area of essex? some years ago i used a guy in hornchurch when i had a 930 turbo.

That might well have been Harvey who now works at Autostrasse.

I'm not aware of any other specialists who I would recommend.

Looked after all 3 of my cars - 944 Turbo, 911SC and now 993 Carreara 2 plus my daughters car and younger sons truck.
Very highly recommended.

1994 Carrera 2 Polar Silver
1987 944 Turbo Zermatt Silver, now gone
1982 911SC Pacific Blue, Sadly Missed.

many tks. The big service is due on my 997s in November and I'm expecting a list of nastys from opc colchester as the current climate probably means they aren't selling cars even though I only bought the cat from an opc last year. All that I'll be pretty upset if they tell me it needs lots replaced after only 5k miles and one year of ownership from opc where all things more than 30 percent worn are supposed to b replaced

I bought my 53 plate 996 in October last year, just in time for it's 48k service. I went to HP Motorsport in Hainault. No problems and the car's been running purrrfectly for 6k all over europe.

Hi, i used to use Autostrasse for a couple of years but the journey was too great. I now use German Engineering Services in Leigh on Sea (near Southend) and have done for the past 4 years. They have carried out major/minor services, clutch/flywheel, oil pipes, pads/discs and next year will be replacing all the suspension, bushes and carrying out a top end rebuild. I can well recommend their work. Oh and they are also very reasonable.
