Independent servicing experience

Hello all

Not sure if this is taking the p1ss on an OP forum site but.....

My 07' Boxster S car is due the 4 year major service next month and I have decided to go down the specialist route due to OPC costs.

I've looked at a few that are local to me Paragon, Addspeed and Camtune

Addspeed was the cheapest but before i let them lose on my beloved new toy i thought i would ask if anyone has any experiences of them or can recommend someone that I may have missed in the southeast?

Thanks

Dave

Depends where you are in the south-east.

I've used Project Nine in Marden - about 8 miles south of Maidstone.

La Rose in Kemsley have a good reputation and I've been told of another specialist in Swanley, but don't know a name.

+1 for Project 9 in Marden - Cliff Lowe. If you're looking at Paragon - presumably Three Bridges, East Sussex - he might be a bit far for you, but he's very good. I've heard good words about La Rose but never used them. Bought my 944S from Paragon about 14 years ago - they also serviced it and replaced the clutch. Haven't been back there since.....

WAS GOING TO DO SAME UNTIL I DISCOVERED IN THESE TOUGH TIMES MY LOCAL OPC WOULD PRICE-MATCH! SAVED £200.00! WORTH A TRY ON BIG SERVICE..

I have read recently of quite serious discounting by OPCs for services - a Major including brake fluid and plugs for not much more than the book price for a Minor for example! Haggle bigtime!
