Fan motor on heater just expired and usual independent servicing mechanic has decamped to Australia until mid-January. Keen to avoid both hypothermia over Christmas and stratospheric servicing costs at Reading Porsche OPC. Any suggestions in Reading/Henley on Thames area for independent servicing centre? Thanks. Michael

Or GT1 at Chertsey -Peter or Craig 01932 569911.

All above with equually good reputations.....

As usual. mention my name!!

Thanks - Northway the closest. Will try on Monday and let you know results. Meanwhile off to find gloves, wooly hat and de-icing fluid...

I had a dodgy sensor unit. I never froze because turning the heat control to max kept me warm, although without much control....

As above- I use Tony Wright at Wrightune- very knowledgable, straightforward approach and very reasonable.

Thanks again - Booked into Wrightune in Wallingford tomorrow. Northway very helpful but booked until mid-Jan. Last chance for the Bedford Autodrome trackday this Saturday anyone?

First class service from Tony Wright. Diagnosed a couple of problems that my usual service centre hadn't. Dealt with everything quickly, courteously and for a very reasonable price. Another excellent day at Bedford Autodrome and will book back into Tony for new discs and pads all round (also quoted for very reasonably). Thanks to Richard for the referral. Michael
