Indicator control relay

Hi - I need pointing in the right direction please.

My 2004 KN S, (RHD) indictors O/S are indicating in the cabin as failed (fast flashing and warning on the dash 'check direction indicators').
The indicators are in fact working OK and I have re-seated and cleaned the headlight units.
So, next I'll replace the indicator relay (flashing unit), but I can't find it. It's not in the N/S engine relay/fuse box. Does anyone know where it is please, is it under the dash? I can't order a replacement until I get the old one out to provide a part number (apparently).

Does anyone know if there is a relay or control unit that deals with light failure indications? I had issues with side-lights and indicators failing (OS front only), Porsche looked at it and fixed it (that's the unit re-seating), so I wonder if it could be more than a relay issue. But first I need to find and change the realy.

Thank you!

Peter

dont have an answer but am interested in any response to this. I had the exact same thing on my 2003 Turbo. Warning sound and light on the dash to say there was a problem, I assumed a bulb had gone but like yours this wasnt the case. It happened a handful of times with sometimes days in between and then just stopped for what now has been 4 months. I was thinking electrical gremlins as at around the same time I had an error to say the reverse light wasn't working, which it was. But same again nothing. I assumed it was something to do with one of the rear light clusters, but didnt bother pursuing as it hasnt happened since.

Hopefully someone will have an answer...
