indicators not indicating

Driving home and back into work this morning when I try to use the indicator it flashes on the dash for a second then nothing. The indicator light stays on constantly ( ie no intermittant flashing ) and nothing happening on the dash ( no tick tick) This happens on both sides as checked in a big mirror ie highly polished DB9 that happened to be in front of me at traffic lights.
Any idea's, recent new alarm immobiliser fitted so wondered if that might have something to do with it.

Cheers
Simon

This is symptomatic of something that is a really easy fix ... but I can't remember what it is!

I think it could be the flasher unit (like a relay, and just as easy to change.)

Someone who knows more will be along soon ...

Oli.

Yep, that sounds like the flasher relay (Blinken Gaben) which will be about £20 mailorder from your local OPC (well it was three years ago when ours went)

No it's probably available from most of the usual places (but many will slap their own percentage on top of the RRP []). Call Exeter OPC on 01392 822800 and mention the forum for the best price and normally free postage
