Indy Garages in Berkshire

It seems that my 996 C2 needs its 5th Rear Main Oil Seal in 7 years and 43k miles. Reading OPC are refusing to replace it under warranty (I persuaded them to do the last one under warranty in 2006, however it seems There is no warranty on a warranty repair- madness!!!) so they wont be getting a penny out of me for it.

Does anyone have any experience of local Indy garages. I see that Northway is fairly near me.

Where in Berks? If you are near Slough, Peter Tognola in Datchet is highly regarded. If you are anywhere near Wallingford, Oxon, Tony Wright at Wrightune is about the cheapest around, and extremely experienced. (I have to declare an interest, as Tony and I have been best friends for over 35 years.) Ray Northway is also extremely good, and you wouldn't go far wrong with him.

I agree, Tony gives an excellent service and his rates are brilliant.
