Info needed - anyone from Ireland?

Just bought a 1986 Arena Red 2.5 Lux. very lovely - loads of paperwork - not bad - a few minor niggles though - so a few questions.

1. Anyone know of a contact number of Porsche Club Northern Ireland (region 27?)[8D]
2. I think I have an engine mount giving some vibration. How much to get this rectified?[X(]
3. Did all 1986 cars (early) have central locking? If so mine doesn't work and I am a bit worried it may have been broken into at some stage.[:'(]

I will browse the forum for 944 advice anyway - but other advice much appreciated.[:D]

You will find Region 27 details and contact numbers in the directory in yellow pages of Porsche Post.
If you require details of Porsche Club Ireland your contact should be Micheal Grimes and Club Office (01608 652911) can give you his details.

Why not go onto the Ireland page in the forum ( heaven knows they need the traffic) and say hello.

Hi good choice of car [:)]

2) I think engine mounts are around £70 - try Bert Gear @ berlyn services not sure how long they take to fit.

3) My 86 Lux didn't, as far as I know all 944's with central locking have a button to lock the doors on the centre console.

Good luck,

Tony
