Info on inspections in north yorks

Hi folks, as I mentioned in my thread on the Turbo section, I need a pre purchase inspection done at a sellers location, in Selby, North Yorks.

The car is accident damaged, which I'm not too bothered about, it's all the normal Porsche gubbins and mechanical condition that I need checked out.

Car is a 1991 964 3.3 Turbo 2.

Ideally need someone who will go to the sellers location as Peter Morgan would do, as I'm not local to the seller.

I'll give all of those a call, starting with Strasse - who seem to have the most reccomendations!

Thanks, will update on what happens!

Called RPM and Strasse, both of whom were helpful but didn't want to inspect a car at the sellers premises, which is understandable.

Unless he is willing to transport the car to either of them himself I think I'll have to give this one a miss... I'll have to have a chat with him this afternoon to see if he is willing to do this.

Combination of not being able to get anyone to go out to the seller and the fact that it was ultimately too expensive for an accident damaged car needing work.

Also found out the original owner is on here, and the car was first class when he had the accident - it since looks like it has been very neglected in the last year if the change in overall condition is anything to go by.
