hi all,

just joined the forums as i will be seeking some information on some cars.

basically, i have just acquired a large amount of car photo's in the form of old negatives / slides / and large film formats, complete with all the copyrights etc.

i have marques such as ford, MG, lancia, peugeot, chevrolet and more including porsche.

some of them have descriptions on them, and i have been researching more about them, eg to see if a particular model is still alive and well etc or info so that i can list with them.

i plan on scanning and digitising all of them and making them available as a photo library or to make photo products out of them etc.

now for the porsche 924, one model of the 924 that i have (with different angles and details etc), is labelled 1978 924 AFN record car. this would have probably been actually photographed anywhere from the date of the model being made, upto around the mid 1990s.

i have tried to find info on this model but have drawn a blank

can anyone give me any info on this model, and its history etc

thanks

Hi

The only person I know of that may be able to help is Steve Kevlin, Motorsports manager at PCGB as he was a 924 race driver at that time.

He can be contacted through the Cornbury House office.
