Inner door seal

can anyone confirm, or not, if the inner door seal ( the one that goes from the top of the windscreen pillar to the top of the door, where it meets the rear wing) from a 986 boxster will fit a 1999 996 C2 Cabriolet? Thanks

The inner gasket that runs along door panel and window (according to PET Pos.5) 996.537.531.06 (L) and 996.537.532.06 (R) looks to be the same. Other gaskets have different prefix, although I understood doors are shared on these models.

Richard will be along and should confirm. Your OPC should confirm if you call them.

I'm having a hard time picturing the ones you mean, but the ones which run along the underside of the roof opening, which seal the top of the door windows, are definitely different.

Edit: Following a PM from Vaughn, it seems like the seals are different, as they have different part numbers for 986 and 996 Cabrio.
