inner wheel arch liners on 83 model ?

HI all

this is my first 944 and i noticed it has no inner plastic liners but ive seen them on ebay for s2 models so i know some models have them

mines a square dash 83, would this have had them too ?

thanks for any help

As far as I am aware they were never fitted to the earlier cars - just a small shroud behind the air intake on the nearside wing. Something I always planned was to see if I could make a late set fit an early car, but never got around to...
 
No. Series two cars onwards.

The only one that really matters is the nearside though, so if I had a series one road car then Id be looking to do that. I believe that fitting is relatively straightforward. They'll fit right in, but will need securing ion place.
 
I intend to try and retro fit to my square dash 944 when the respray is complete. I've picked up a pair from a later car, I will let you know how I get on, will try and get it done before Joon Hoon
