Inside of drivers window always greasy

I am guessing the answer will have something to do with taking the door card off, but the drivers window of my 997.2 comes up greasy and streaked every time I use it. Is there a cleaning regime for this? I am not keen on the idea of taking the door card off to achieve this.
Thanks

This could be worth a try.

Using methylated spirit clean the two strips of material that forms the seal at the top of the door as the window rises and lowers.
Also clean the window with methylated spirit. Allow to dry before operating the window again.

Thanks. I found my Mint Classic glass cleaner has a high alcohol content so I soaked some of that in to the seal and used a thin spatula and a cleaning cloth to drag out a whole stack of grime and greasy stuff. Quite a few repetitions of opening and closing the window dragged out more stuff and now it's 95% clean, so I can now see clearly in the wing mirror.

Pleased to hear your news.

95% clear/clean[:-] Only another 5% effort and your home and dry[:)]
