Inspections

Hi guys,
I'm buying an 02 Boxter and for reassurance am looking to have an inspection carried out on the car.

Can anyone recommend somebody to do this? - the car is located in South Wales.

Thanks

Might be best to go to an OPC and ask for the pre-warranty inspection.

This would then enable you to take out the extended warranty, should you wish.

It can vary from £100 to £200, I believe.

However, if it goes to the OPC who has maintained it, they should be fairly reasonable on the price.

I was of the impression that OPC no longer offer an inspection - that's what I was told when I went ot buy mine privately!

Managed to get one, from a respected writer of Porsches.... cost £275.
That was in Chcichester though, so don't know if S Wales is covered by him....

Hello, I have used Nationwide 0845 060 9990 3 times so far, there advert is in the back of PWorld very good six page report, phone call as well around £200. Each time you use them the price gets cheaper.

SEE YA

Hi,
I'm in the process of buying my Boxster and the Porsche Centre that maintained it will do a pre-warranty inspection on the vehicle for £125.

The taking up of the warranty is optional, so this is a very good option for me.
