Insurance for storage ?

I need some advice here - my little Boxster dropped a valve a few weeks ago, and the resulting damage to the #1 cylinder bore, #1 piston and the cylinder head meant that to repair the engine would involve an outlay of IRO £5k. And yes, this is the same one which knackered camshafts, tappet ladders, lifters, and an oil pump in May or so.

I'm putting the car into storage while I work out what to do, and save up to get it back on the road. And here's the question.

The car is SORN'ed, but I need to get insurance for theft and fire while it's in the barn. Does anyone have any idea where I could get CHEAP insurance - my current insurer has quoted £270 or so, and for a car in a barn with no engine or gearbox, it's difficult to understand why the figure is that much.

There's a company called Sorn Insurance (.com) who are widely used in the campervan world - I'd give them a try.
