Insurance, insurance, insurance...

Can anyone advise me, from all the ads in Porsche Post and 911 & Porsche World (or elsewhere), which company is "the best" for Porsche insurance? They all claim to be, of course, but in practice....
If any of you have had particularly good or bad service from anyone, especially in the event of a claim (which is really when you find out if they are any good and live up to their advertising) please let me know.
I am currently with Norwich Union, but they do seem expensive; so far I have asked for quotes from Performance Insurance and Heritage, but know nothing of their track record.
Thanks,
Robbie

This may seem a strange recommendation but try Porsche insurance.

They managed to undercut my lowest quote by about £50 and did not request a tracker to be fitted.

my tuppence worth ...Nowell and Richards Porsche Insurance very good ...as was Porsche Insurance but decided to go with N+R - Norwich Union good policies but very uncompetitive last couple of years ???

cheers
Kevin

Thanks, Mikejb993 - I'll save you and all the others any further hassle and go straight to the thread! (Sorry - I've been away for a month and didn't check to see what had been going on here in my absence!)

But horror stories still welcome - I think we should be told....

Robbie
