Insurance Query

Hi,

I've just bought a 2012 Cayenne V6 D Tiptronic as my daily driver and had an insurance quote of £663 for fully comp with £500 xs. I used to be a company car driver and am 56 yrs young and live in the sticks in rural Lincolnshire. No accidents in last 5 years with a clean licence.

Anyone know if this is a reasonable quote?

Kind regards,

Nick

Hi John,
Yes, I've discovered that I have no NCD with them. Admiral quoted £1,083. Locton quoted £1,300.
My broker will give me 3 years NCD if I get a letter from my employer.
Cheers,
Nick

My 06 Cayenne Turbo S is around the £600 mark with Mannings uk and I have my 993 with them too
The Club sponcered Insurance company wouldn't do any mileage over 7k a year which is mad as a daily driver. I do about 10K a year. They did check as a rought idea but when it started with a 9 I just said no
Not had any issues with Mannings in 15 years their do advertise in the Porsche Post

Graham

Thanks guys. Mannings could not get anywhere near my best quote. My 16,000 miles pa killed it.
Decided to go with the broker as sick of spending 30 mins on phone only to be disappointed.
Now looking forward to picking her up on Friday??!
