Insurance Query

I am currently with Liverpool Victoria with an unlimited mileage policy, but no track day cover.

My policy expires early November, so I am starting to ring around for the following :-
  • 1986 911 Carrera Coupe
  • Parked on drive - NOT garaged (but access to one).
  • PCGB Trackday Cover
AON don't want to know unless it is garaged.
Performance Marque will NOT do classic unless garaged. They would do 'normal' insurance but would NOT do Trackday as the car is too old !

Does anyone have an 'old' 911 that is not garared but can get Trackday cover ? If so, can you let me know who it is with.

Ann Manning (see PP for tel no) offer cover for PCGB trackdays, however, I have found Classicline ( 01455 639000 also in PP) to be the most competitive. Not sure if they offer track day cover, doesn't say anything about it on my renewal - less than £300 including breakdown![8D]

Thanks Shirish and Nicola.

I rang Ann Manning and they were very helpful. Car not garaged but with Thatcham alarm and 5K miles (with PCGB Track Cover) was a very respectable £380.

Will try others before I part with my cash, but this is a good start.
