This has been started following a request at the R4 meeting. I shall start with my recent good deal (or is it?)

I have been insured on my 1988 944 lux by KGM with a 5000 mile classic policy for £163 per year with breakdown and agreed valuation and my mini for £130 a year. This year i now have a 1980 911 SC to insureso i decided to look for a multiple car policy.

After disappointment with Hegarty and Heritage (due to the need to drive to work in my classic cars) i have finally found a company called ClassicLine at www.classiclineinsurance.co.uk i have recieved a quote of £457 for 5000 miles on the 944 and mini each and 3000 miles on the 911 SC, with travel to and from work, agreed valuation on all three cars and uk and european recovery.

If anybody has any insurance questions or good deals please share them.

Elliot - Tried above ins for the Boxster £658. Had one from A Flux £476. worth looking around as one quote £780 no chance!

All - In the end have got cover with Heritage for £408 which includes track days at Porsche club outings. Did get quote from Classicline which was £335 but had no track cover. Still goes to show you need to shop around.

I insure with Classicline too , for the three in my sig. They seem to take a more sensible view on multiple car policies than any other broker i've spoken to.
